Writer
Hailing from West Michigan, Brenna Buckwald spent a large portion of her childhood reading and writing—crediting her love of books to her grandmother, who would often bring her to bookstores and let her roam. Her love for writing developed during grade school and followed her to college.
Staying in the region, Brenna attended Grand Valley State University, where she acquired her B.S. in Communication Studies with a Writing Minor. Brenna’s experience includes creative writing, journalism, and editing works of fiction and poetry.
Since graduating, Brenna has moved to the greater Grand Rapids area and enjoys exploring the city— visiting local shops, restaurants, and consignment shops has become a favorite hobby of hers. Outdoors, Brenna likes finding new parks and trails to walk, riding her bike, and opening a good book in the sunshine.
